NOTHING LIKE THE REAL THING
Brain tumours are a leading cause of cancer-related death in children and adults. In Canada, 27 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour everyday.
High-quality brain tumour tissues have been instrumental in understanding malignancies of the central nervous system. They are required in advancing neuro-oncology research and developing new treatment options.
The Brain Tumour Tissue Bank supplies a wide variety of these tumour samples, all graded and quality assured by the Bank’s neuropathologist.
